Effective: May 6, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ADASTRA LABS PTE. LTD. ("Adastra", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in Playyy, including https://playyy.ai/ and related websites, applications, features and services (collectively, the "Services"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, scripts and device identifiers. These technologies help us recognize your browser or device, keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, process payments, understand usage and improve the Services.
Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for a set period unless deleted earlier.
2. Categories We Use
We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:
| Category | Purpose | Examples of Providers | Consent Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Provide core functionality, authentication, account security, fraud prevention, checkout, billing portal redirects, load balancing and legal compliance | Playyy, Stripe, Cloudflare Turnstile and infrastructure providers | Required for the Services and generally cannot be disabled through our cookie controls |
| Functional | Remember preferences, language, interface settings and product choices | Playyy | Used where permitted; may be optional depending on implementation |
| Analytics and performance | Understand traffic, product usage, conversion, errors, performance and feature effectiveness | Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry and similar tools where enabled | Used with consent where required by law |
| Advertising and attribution | Measure campaigns, understand ad performance, attribute conversions and deliver or measure relevant advertising | Google Ads and similar advertising providers where enabled | Used with consent or opt-out controls where required by law |
| Payment and fraud prevention | Support Stripe checkout, subscription management, payment security, fraud prevention and trial abuse prevention | Stripe and related payment services | Required for payment and subscription functionality |
We do not intentionally use non-essential cookies where applicable law requires consent unless you have provided the required consent.
3. Technologies Currently Relevant to Playyy
Depending on your region, account state, browser, plan and our configuration, the Services may use:
- Playyy first-party cookies and storage for authentication, sessions, security, user preferences, product state and cookie choices.
- Stripe technologies when you start a trial, purchase a subscription, manage billing, update payment methods or access Stripe-hosted checkout or billing portal pages.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads where enabled, to measure visits, product events, conversion and marketing performance.
- Mixpanel where enabled, to measure product usage, onboarding, pricing funnel and feature events. Mixpanel may use local storage or other identifiers.
- Sentry where enabled, for error monitoring, diagnostics, performance and session replay or debugging information.
- Cloudflare Turnstile where enabled, to verify sign-in or sign-up attempts and protect against spam, bots and abuse.
- Google sign-in technologies where you choose to authenticate with Google.
The exact cookies and storage items may change as the Services evolve or as providers update their technologies.
4. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- authenticate you and maintain your session;
- secure accounts and prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate trials, scraping and unauthorized access;
- remember cookie choices and user preferences;
- operate hosted checkout, subscription management and billing workflows;
- measure traffic, usage, feature performance, pricing-page interactions and conversion;
- diagnose bugs, crashes, latency and service reliability issues;
- personalize parts of the Services where permitted;
- measure advertising and campaign performance where enabled; and
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, security and consumer protection obligations.
5. Your Choices
Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You may be offered options such as:
- Accept all: allow all cookie categories.
- Reject non-essential: allow only strictly necessary cookies.
- Customize: choose categories such as analytics, functional or advertising.
You can change cookie preferences through our cookie banner or preference center where available. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Services may not work, including sign-in, security, checkout, subscription management or project access.
Withdrawing consent stops future placement or use of non-essential cookies under our control. Existing cookies may remain on your browser until they expire or you delete them.
6. Browser and Device Controls
Most browsers allow you to block, delete or limit cookies:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies or Site settings
- Safari: Settings or Preferences > Privacy
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Your device or browser may also support privacy controls such as Global Privacy Control. Where required by applicable law, we will treat recognized opt-out signals as valid opt-out requests for applicable advertising or sharing activities.
7. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party providers may set or read cookies or similar technologies when their services are used in or linked from the Services. Examples include Stripe, Google, Mixpanel, Sentry and Cloudflare. These third parties process information according to their own privacy notices and cookie policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or services. You should review their privacy and cookie notices for more information.
8. Retention
Cookie retention varies by category and provider:
| Category | Typical Retention |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary session cookies | Session duration or as long as needed for authentication, security and service operation |
| Functional cookies and local storage | Until changed by you, account closure or expiry set by us |
| Analytics and performance identifiers | Typically up to 26 months, depending on provider settings and consent choices |
| Advertising and attribution identifiers | Typically up to 13 months or shorter where required by law or provider settings |
| Stripe and payment-related cookies | Set and retained by Stripe according to Stripe's own policies and payment security requirements |
| Cookie preference records | As long as necessary to remember your choices, usually 6 to 13 months |
We may update these periods as providers, laws and our implementation change.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where required, we will refresh consent or provide additional notice for material changes.
